    Thanks Thorsten.

I see some have small feet and some have wide feet.

And some have air holes on the feet and some do not.

The 89er and his biggest friend at Hegewald near ****omir.

Note the Herse group standing in the back - and the DHW furniture, of course.

Does anyone have an 89 that has the signature directly across from a leg and not centered between 2 legs? This is shown in my 1st post of this thread.

There's one with no detail for sale now by Rumanli

The bottom does not have the Diebitsch signature at all. I will post a pic later.

I know it does not...so you would lose that bet.

Lets find out and working on that now. Whats the wager as the seller is afraid to shoot the mark itself. But I can tell you from experience it is most probably signed with a very high degree of certainty, but I will take the bet and give myself a 0.5 % chance of loss.

Not sure what he's scared of since he already sent it to me and there is no Diebitsch signature that I can see on it. Let's see if he sends you the same pic.

Not a fair bet since I already know the answer.

                    Alright,

Q: Is the piece signed and marked Allach

A: Yes, it has well-known Markungen. Here may actually be known as such images should not be made a
                    greeting
                    Roland

So, he is saying he does not want to forward a photo I think

Q: Is it signed C. Diebitsch under the glaze

A: Is Actually just in the Description to read. But here again ... Diebitsch- So he appears to confirm its signed here.

So, the problem is and I will wait for the photo you got is that it does not show up due to the glazing but its there. The fact that you cannot see it? there is a reason for that.

Description translation add. Candlestick. So-called "Diebitschleuchter". White porcelain, on four curled Volutenfußen of Allach Einpressmarkung where ties with the name C. Diebitsch to read.Height 12cm

allach #89 with no Diebitsch signature under it

Back to my computer where I can upload this...

Auction for this one closed today for 456.99 Euro / $629.37 USD

I think you are misinterpreting what the seller is saying with regards to the Diebitsch signature. He says it is named IN the description of the item not on the item itself.

Anyhow, here are the photos for future reference.

No, its too much light and even if I shop it I cant bring it up. Would never see it off that photograph and even in hand in cases like this you need correct lighting to get the signature of the piece. Oh well.

I would say that is reasonable for a #89 these days
