There is an interesting link to the pink smock thread, post 345 http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...260576&page=23
"the same go with the fake italian cover story, many know here who has made them, but for some reason no one say the name. "

Quite Frankly, I'm disappointed at some of the folks I've been sharing this forum with over the past few years, I would have expected objective statements and not this ridiculous waltz of riddles.
To me those in the know unwilling to share with the community do a similar disservice as the forgers themselves. All eyes are on you and your reputations in the community desintegrate as you read this.

This PALM helmet cover is original 100% and it reside happily in my collection.
Doasent matter what Kammo mann or Dylan dog say, I have most confidence in my 33 years of REAL collecting.
What is fake is the rumor you are writing and sending around with PM and e-mail that friends turned me over.

Seems to me the same story of CG HG threads, "pink" smocks and many others in the last time.
If it's rare or different from the textbook examples, it is fake if we say it is fake.
We hold the keys to the kingdom, what we say goes, no explanations necessary. Even if you get the materials tested in a lab, and it is all WWII vintage, well there are warehouses full of WWII materials just waiting to be made into super rare wraps, covers pullovers and so on.
Everything Richard P. owned was fake...because they say so and probably the same for me and many others here.
No forensics, not necessary, Singers or Speers word (in my case) is gospel (at least for them and his friends, unfortunatly all moderators here )
There is now also a guy from L.A. area that has decided he is the guru in the SS camo field and maybe Lorenzo is a big competition for him and now finally He can declares him a faker. You have a lot to learn from him in your collecting field man, trust me!
Sometimes I just want to throw in the towel, but I can not let this forum die, sorry!
It has been way too long fellow members, I am back.Siam fatti cosi!

Honestly, I really cant find anything dishonest to say about Lorenzo. He may have handled and aqquired a substancial amount of materials do to his location and sources that others may wonder in awe how this is possible, and this may hurt the ego of some, but I am confident Lorenzo is not up to any sort of monkey business. If you know this man personally I am sure you would feel the same too. Lorenzo while I have known him has done nothing but add input where he can openly, not taken away around here. I understand why info is often kept on the QT alot but if we are going to move forward in this Hobby we have got to get past this I know but cant tell, I have seen it all so its the law but cant explain it mentaility (Fear). 1 step forward, 2 steps back. Benefit zero.
Regards,
Pete
