The entire uniforms, helmets, daggers, swords, allach, guns, caps, personal gifts, Dietrich´s gifts, personal books, officer crates, some documents, photo`s, SS totenkopf rings and medals are fake or real but never belonged to Macher-Witt.

I decided not to be silent, for I was one of the people defending the SOB, but to give a warning out to my fellow collectors before you might get burned, as he tried to do to me.

And, the son of Witt is in on the whole scam. He stated that all of the items were his father.
That is what´s most disturbing IMHO.

To all the replies and posts on this Kelly Hicks purchase.I started back in 1969-1970s.I used to hear about Roger Steele and of course ole Charlie Synder and others!They could talk the ears off a bull elephant,believe me!Charlie's still around as many of you know.For every good item he has,there are 100 bad items!P.T. Barnam said there is a sucker born every minute. Kelly Hicks purchase and i have alot of respect for him as he knows his SS helmets is as you collectors who have a sharp eye and do your research on these groupings Its the era of greedy,phony sob's,and thieves of all kinds.They love to screw the newbie collector and older collectors as well and at times with a B.S. story which sometimes gets the well know a collector/dealer.You can have a ton of knowledge,but sometimes your judgement gets clouded.I my self don't believe any dealers stories.I go one thing,if its to good to be true walk away!!
