I only spelled "collection" wrong, "collocation" is a term I use for everyday work and that is what normally comes out or something close to it when I type fast.

It's nice to see such a wonderful cheery thread this Christmas season, reminds me of the 4th grade recess antics.....it's a wonder anyone posts anything to view. It never seems to be this hostile over on the Wehrmacht or Luftwaffe threads, just odd.

Agree Scott too many criticizing idealists.. that's why you only see poor ripped off insignia here and fakes, no one dares to post uniforms anymore and what for? "Frankenstein", "Christmas tree", "fantasy" who wants this crap?

Now that I responded to your request please post some of your original untouched examples.

Not SS but here are two of mine I have already posted on the WA- both named with photos of the tunics being worn. I restored the Eagle on the Nebel Lehr tunic. I guess I am not 100% sure if there actually was not a Totenkopf collar tab originally where the Army breast eagle was but I made the best guess I could based on my idealism.

I have plenty more- when you shout into a cave you never know what is in there. Quite often you will find a bear and then you really have a problem.

Nice Heer tunics but not really appropriate in this thread as the subject of this thread is restored vs untouched SS tunics. Only very a few (SS uniforms) have not been stripped off insignia after trhe war for well-known reasons.

I never criticized restored tunics, never called them "frankenstein" before but a quick search on this forum brings a full page of results where you, "besslein", call them "frankenstein", clearly you only like untouched tunics! may we see JUST one of them?

I would like to Achtungs tunics as well. Pick one of two of your very best untouched SS tunics for us. I am sure given the level of confidence and expertise that Achtung has vocalized and given his level of self confidence it must be a very impressive collection.
