You are correct Robert... there are some dangerous replica cuffs out there as we both know... I have seen what you have shown me and IMHO this is not such a case. IMO original and nice cuff title.

There are only "poor" graphic images in angolias book, p 150. (With the risk of being labeled as a reference book fascist. ) I refer mainly to what is accepted as war time embroidery, and in the context of the quality of the photos. And from my own experience... These hand embroidred cuff titles can vary in the execution and sometimes give the wrong "impression" from photos. One shall try to look beyond that, and as Ian rightfully wrote, check if the black band is original as well as the tag. In this case both are ok.
