    SS Obersturmbannführer Karl Schulz Tunic

    Frohe Ostern Friends,
Today I present you an SS Officer Tunic.
Some days ago I bought the SS Sturmbannführer Karl Schulz Group consisting of; The Tunic, M40 SD Helmet, SS Full inscription Röhm dagger and a many documents.

Now, the tunic with matched insignia set.
All insignia hand-stitched, only the cufftitle was removed.
The ribbon bar is hand stiched fixed on the tunic. Most ribbon are attached suitably to his awards.
I do not understand why two EK ribbon and two kvk ribbon was installed.

    Let me know your coments...

    Cheers Andi

              Sorry Doctor,
              no picture with the tunic.

Besslein, the tunic is not dated. There was a Label inside but it is removed.

They are the only photos that I own.
I hope that we can find a tunic photo here in the forum .

The top three photos look like they could be entitled "Hiding my arse in the Schwartzwald after the War"

Did you get it from the family usw.? The biggest danger with something like this is a tunic built around a paper lot etc.

People were terrified after the War, even the ones that were not criminals. I had relatives that were SS and they were scared well into the 70s about being arrested etc.

I am really sorry, but I do not like that Tunic. Very bad vibe for me.

                        Ok, this is your feeling.
I have no problems with the tunic.

                          Doc,

Are you sure you have not been eating in "B" rated Vietnamese restaurants again?

Those are the best ones. I would like to know where it came from. As I said the biggest "danger" with these is that someone fines a paper lot and builds a tunic or adds a visor cap etc. The awards on the 1957 style ribbon bar are funky, the Luftschutz medal, double KVK, social welfare etc.
