Here is a recent addition. Officially introduced in September 1942, it is the "Protective Suit for FLAK Crews". Though not widely worn, there are eight period pictures of it in use by SS panzer and FLAK crews in Volume 3 (pages 797-803) in Mike Beaver's uniform series. Most notable is the picture of Hauptsturmfuhrer Rudolf von Ribbentrop, his arm in a sling, immediately after his company (3/I SS Panzerregiment 12) had lost 7 of 12 panthers in an an abortive attack against Canadian defences in Normandy. A well-known picture, few had recognized the cmparatively unique uniform he was wearing.
This set was originally from Mike Beaver through a well known dealer.
