I wonder that this comes even into a discussion, and when someone sells stones buy them or leave em, I would not pay a dime for any stone even from one from the 3 Pyramids ...

Just to jump in on this. In some places in Germany the Germans put out their big trash twice a year on the street for the trash man to pick up. So am I wrong for getting the list of dates of the villages doing this and going thru the trash set out looking for antiques and military items for my collection or resale. If I am wrong for doing this then I guess I had fun doing it and did it for many years. Found a lot of nice stuff laying on the street for trash. Enough to buy me a nice car one year.

stone search
i did find also some stones (not the rolling stones) on the place where adolf hitler did have his house ,the berghof.
i did take one stone from the wall that did belong to the wall ,that stone is on many pictures when somebody did go to visit the fuhrer.
the stones from that wall where a gift of the duce from italie.
the hole area and especialiea the streets where from the same kind stones.15 years ago you could find them every where ,next to the platterhof and near goerings house they where just there.
butt now everijthing changed .
no more platterhof,
no more ss kaserne,
no more thee house.
rumble from everij where on top of the berghof and next to hotel zum turken, will be the next step to put concrete over the ruins?
i dont know butt i have one big stone from the wall in my own garden .
here is a pic of what i did find more.... next to the berghof,
ps robert i have a second one for free butt cant ship it to the states
wenn you get to the netherlands you can pick it up for free at my house so you dont have to buy one.

Ive also seen bricks from Eagle's Lair or pieces from the Zepplinfield being sold by members on the e-stand. Dont know the fuss about this.
The two pieces are still available. They are nice pieces and 100% from the site. I have smaller fragments if anyone is interested in them. PM me.
Thanks,

So you're using the thread on Wewelsburg castle you started to plug the fact that you're selling pieces of stone you pulled out of a dumpster which you claim to be part of the castle....... real classy

Again as I repeat, they were from the dumpster directly beneath the castle which at this time was undergoing renovations. The pieces were most likely destined to be destroyed or crushed.
In all i took only 5-6 pieces.
Tell us then, Eujin... where did you pull your piece(s) of the Feldherrnhalle from??? The last 6 or 7 times I have been there over the past couple of years I could see that it would be 'very' difficult to take a piece without having to break something off or do some sort of lasting damage. Or was there renovation work going on the day you happened to visit there, too

remove pieces from an intact building like Feldherrnhalle is a absolute "no go".
Respect about this historical place should prohibit this doing for every TR interested man!
And, if every visitor would refinance his german holiday by removing historical items from our buildings, the work of allied terror bomber commands would be completed so. Unfortunately our government destroyed enough period made buildings.

m-e-h-t,,, I agree with you that grubbing pcs. from/at/off the Feldherrnhalle is contemptible. In my opinion, it's akin to the cretins in the US who steal those old solid bronze military flag-holders from our cemeteries to sell them as scrap. Once these are stolen/missing from the graves of military members, & the families no longer have the "thing" to stick their flags in on Memorial Day, our US Marine Corps Veterans Association has to purchase aluminum ones with a bronze coating, as it's price-prohibitive to replace them nowadays with bronze ones.

Have a good weekend, and thanks those who showed interest in the pieces.
No, Eujin... It is certainly not a trap, nor is this about politics. It's about you taking pieces of monuments, buildings etc. on your little trip through Germany, like in this thread where you mention taking tiles from the Hofbräuhaus, the remains of the Ehrentempel and Feldherrnhalle (posts 4, 8 and 16):
