As did I...
Seems like Willem has caught on to the poster junkie's frequenting his site... He has upped his prices in response.
I didn't see what the 'De Stem Der SS' poster was priced at, but the others are/were too high for what they are IMO.
Anyone here pull the trigger?Last edited by Max Wünsche; 06-17-2014, 07:18 AM.

Well it was more than that!
Considering though what the poster that Max just posted sold for at auction, and some of the prices at HH, which then also have a buyer's premium added, etc., I don't think it was that bad. I love the image of the poster, and don't see many of the originals for sale. I'm happy to own it.

Sold at Auction for EUR 1,300.... +20% buyer premium +21%VAT...
So if the buyer was subject to VAT, he has just outlayed EUR 1,833 + shipping for a poster that I have seen listed numerous times for under EUR 300
As much as I love the work of Harald Damsleth, I just don't see a high value in these given how numerous they are.
His brother i have for sale for already long time, wished somebody gave me €1400 for this one

At least I recognize the drawing from SS-PK Erich Palmowski, which was published in Germanische Reihe, Heft (issue) 3-4 in 1943.
I don't have them in hand as yet, so not too clear on what the details are on the reverse sides.
This was another, amongst many others that was unfortunately already sold.

As you can see the images come from the wonderful book of
Wilhelm Petersen "Er ging an meiner Seite. Zeichnungen 1939 - 1945"
Munin Verlag, 1980, pag. 25
