Here's my favorite "overpriced" poster......

This is the only known copy of a 6 sheet Frankenstein poster to exist. It's estimated if it came on to the market it would sell for over $1 million.

I guess there will always be collectibles that some are willing to pay a small fortune for which I wouldnt even wipe my proverbial with.

I would definitely purhcase one the SS Polizei posters, but not at that price and especially knowing what others have gone for (i.e. alot less).

For what I have paid for some of my other posters, I cannot bring myself to pay more for a poster that I consider inferior (although still nice)... I am sure you are the same.

Then again the way the world is heading im surprised what people are still paying for items, me included.

That depends on your view of the collectables market.

Are any of those things worth that much? Obviously to the people that purchased them and maybe to the "just have to have it now" collectors.

Probably not to the rest of us.

Just another example that when the super rich get involved in an area of collecting the prices reach nose-bleed territory rather quickly.
