We all know the "Dich Ruft Die SS" booklet, but there are a lot of german/foreign items with great design to share.

Tony, if you are ok, Loïc and I can share a few dozen of (Waffen-)SS propaganda booklets/leaflets/flyers for the masses. I think this may be better than to do a new thread ?

    See You

    Vince

PS : Aaaaah Damsleth. He did a hell of amazing artworks, including some for various propaganda booklets/flyers.
Unfortunately local collectors are usually ready to pay a lot (i mean a lot...) for booklets and posters done by Damsleth... More than 300 Euros each for a single booklet is quite a lot.
Hi Vince - while I didn't start the thread I don't think anyone will really mind seeing leaflets added to it.

I certainly would like to see them.

I would like to see those nice LVF "Legion Tricolor" posters here too. Maybe not worth much but one has some very nice Art Deco graphics on it.

                Hi,

i will start with three uncommon leaflets/booklets, our friend Harm Wulf will like them for sure. ^_^

First is a flemish one, made by the Ersatzkommando Der Waffen-SS Brussel/Bruxelles.
Called "Vlaanderen vraagt Soldaten" ("Flanders call soldiers"),
this is a 15x21cm 20-pages booklet for the recruitment of flemish Waffen-SS soldiers.
The date "July 11, 1302" is an implied reference to the famous battle where the united army of flemish cities defeated the King of France Philip IV. The french noble cavalry was infact massacred (due to poor local conditions for the cavalry).
This is the national holiday for the Flanders.
Of course the content is not about fighting against the Frenchs, but against bolchevism.

The second one came from Norway : "Og hvor er du ?" ("And you what are you doing ?").
This 15x21, 8-pages booklet has the goal to recruit volunteers for the SS-Pansergrenader-regiment "Norge".
Originally, the "Freiwilligen Legion Norwegen" was to be a norvegian unit to be sent to Finland, but they finally fought in the Leningrad front. Less than 500 Norvegians volunteered from Summer 1941 up to Spring 1943. The survivors were transfered to the SS-Panzergrenadier Regiment 23 "Norge", of the 11. SS-Freiwilligen-Panzergrenadier-Division "Nordland" (created during Summer 1943). This booklet is probably dated from 1943.

The drawing is made by the SS-Sturmmann Fin Wigforss, famous SS-PK artist from the unit.

The third one is again from Norway : "Bli med oss nordover" ("Come with us on "the nord(front)").
This leaflet (15x21cm, 4-pages) shows a rare drawing of Wigforss. This leaflet has the goal to recruit volunteers for the famous SS-Skijegerbataljon "Norge", which was a norvegian ski unit created in 1942 (up to late 1944) who was attached to the 6. SS-Gebirgs-Division "Nord".

The drawing is again made by Wigforss.

                See You

                Vince

I posted this one a while back as well, it is by an SS Kriegsberichter - SPAHN.

I have tried to find more information on him but all I have been able to find is the name of a 'KARL SPAHN' and that is all.

Does anyone have a more comprehensive list of SS-Kriegsberichter's...
