    Hi,

Loïc - if he has the time in the future - will check the typo of some posters/flyers to check if we can prove that they are post-war.
The Mjölnir poster posted by patrick is clearly a real one, (a really beauty indeed !).

@ TK : the "Hoch" guy is known, but i'm unable to remember his name (i have it somewhere). Anyone can help us ?
The "Hoch" guy was on the front page of the one of the SS french booklets '"unités françaises de la Waffen-SS".

The various "faces" of SS volunteers are used in a few booklets.

About the "texts" on the Hoch poster...
In my own opinion, the one at the top is fake (with maybe even a fake version of the poster), the one in the middle (with the address of the Dienstelle from Nancy) may be real (poster taken from the collection of René Bail), the one at the bottom is a real poster with a fake text... The red stripe is really TOO small to be used for text... I think it was done to have a more big "white stripe" sticked with the infos of the local Dienstelle (like for the alsacian version of the Mjölnir poster).

    See You

    Vince

After examining this Anton in hand I have to conclude it is authentic.

As Vince pointed out above, sticking a strip of paper over the poster to add different details seems to have been the way it was done.

        A few more

I imagine it would have been a royal pain in the arse to have individually printed the different address' on the actual posters themselves, the stuck on label seems the logical easy solution.

I thinks its a killer poster...

Thought I´d add some pics of original gouaches and poster of the artist Hans Kraft from Münster - Hauptstadt of Gau Westfalen-Nord.

Not directly SS but three are SS related:

hmm...I think it's uglier than that Damsleth one you bought that was offered around.

I like my posters like my women; sexy, colorful and painted up to look glamorous, and give me a hard on at 500 meters.

Black and white is about as interesting to look at as a 99 year old woman with one tooth and her tits hitting the floor. Except from a historical perspective.

But beauty is in the eye of the beholder........
