the difference is that a fake item is supposed to pretend that it is good and therefore it costs what a good item costs. A postwar piece can be a fake or simply a reproduction. A reproduction is much cheaper as it is offered as that.
Bob said it was cheap so I wouldn't consider it a fake but rather a repro.
