My thoughts on SS tunics and their values, were just that, my opinions. I wish you guys the best of luck with your future purchases, no matter what they may be.

One thing to keep in mind, that I see and hear in a lot of other threads is the word "Hobby". IMO, and you can take this any way you wish, but when items cost 10, 20 , 30 , or 50 thousand and up, and dealers have 1 or 2 million, or more in gross sales in a year, then it is no longer a hobby , but big business!!!!

With that being said, if someone is going to spend that kind of cash, especially with today's economy, then I would certainly hope that he/she would know exactly what they are buying, with whatever proof may acompany the item. Regards, Grant
I agree completely, with such high prices it just cannot be a hobby anymore. Anything, investment, business, madness, but definately not a hobby for an average person like me. When I look at dealer prices - it just plain unbelievable, in such short time prices sky-rocketed (did I use correctly this word ). I must find a better pay job at least 1,000,000/year If seriously I don't care, not a big deal, I still like this staff anyway, if I buy more or not will not make difference. Maybe it is even for better, now I can buy Cartier watch M-mm! Or Patek Philippe just like Putin wears only for 60K . BTW Bush wears $15 Timex Oh no!

          Do you really speak African?
Actually, I like him, he is proud Russian and tough politician, and smart too. Well deserved to wear Patek Philippe (a gift too BTW).

Something tells me that it is a negative comment toward me.. because I see a word "you", and to be honest I don't like that word. I am not your brother or even friend. You don't know me, I don't know you. Keep your comments with the word "you" for yourself. F.. there is always some $ole who wants to ruine the Friday evening

The all this talk about "watchers /cars / who gives a ****" was actually about this tunic and its price. WE, collectors, made it that high. We agree and pay any price and as a result we got what we deserved: the tunic that was just a few years ago 10K and it was already an astronomical price IMO, but now it is three times more. But I don't have any pain about it. Honestly. If I really wanted it, I could still buy it anyway. I just refuse, because I have many other interests and see another cool staff that I could spend money for in my life. Absolutely I don't worry about. No anger at all. I wish it was my biggest problem in my life. But life is much more cruel than just paying heigh prices..
BTW, there while there is no discussion about the tunic in question, MAY I? may i? may i (will you allow me please? do I need always to ask for you permission first?) to tell you the movie I saw recently.
It was about two collectors who collected Paintings/Art works. The difference was that one of them was extremely wealthy, while another one has already spent all his money for the hobby. The movie starts when a wealthy guy shows his "poor" but obsessed with the hobby friend a work of Van Gogh. .. and offers him a deal He said "I know you don't have money to buy it but I can give it to you if you ... cut your ear off same as Van Gogh did. The movie shows how he was suffering by wanting this painting and finally he agreed and cut his own ear off and got the picture he wanted.
It is not the end of the movie. The movie ends when that rich guy offers him ultra rare, as a matter of fact (well it is just a movie but still) he offers him a painting of Dali for one month owing it and then the guy, if he agrees, must kill himself - for one month of owing that neigh-end piece of their hobby. And what do you think?
Here is when movie ends. Did he possibly agree? I think everything is possible when people lose their minds.

I am obsessed with Audio too. As a matter of fact I have same speakers English Queen listens too Tannoy hand-made not hi-fi but High-End, it what label says on the back of them.
Another interesting story. We (my wife and I) once moved to a new place and a living room was much bigger and speakers had to be much far away from each other than before. And cables that connect them to the amp were too short, so I went to a local hi-fi store. Please note: I went to a "regular" store, not some High-End, exotic or custom-made store -The regular stereo shop. A sales persom met me at the door and ask me if he can help me. I said I want to buy cables for speakers. He asked which ones, what brand. I thought, well after all it is just cables, so I said the best ones that you have. He went to the shelves and brought (note: not special order or something - it was actually on their shelves) he brought a pair of cables that I needed and the price was 30,000 dollars. just for two wires/cables. I asked wow, why so much, he told "It is pure Silver, but most important these cables have an electronic device that controls condition of the metal on the cell-level so it wouldn't change because of constantly travelling currency in them". No I did not buy them, I rather buy TK tunic

No, I am not on a market for any tunic. It was simply bet: if I buy it you pay me 5, if I don't, I pay you 5. Fare IMO. And if I return it one week later I will return you half $2,500

YEP GOOD CABLES WORK WONDERS I AM A TRUE BELIEVER IN THEM $30K I AM NOT SURPRISED . the device on the back is to keep the cables in the optical burn in state .the problem is you have to spend more to get only a small level of improvement and spend more and more each time .as for the tunic thats $60k down if i was in the usa i would fly and have a look as air fairs are cheap like bus tickets
