Waffen SS Oberbayern (Totenkopf Division) Obersturmfuhrer's tunic

I am considering buying the following tunic, but at this amount would appreciate the experts' views before doing so.

Sorry, I didn't notice your asking for experts views, but I 've already responded on two so I might as well finish this one.

All the insignia appear original on this one which is quite unusual in itself. Great modified TK tab, super boards, original sleeve eagle, real Alter Kampher chevron and crowned with what appears to be a real Oberbayern BULLION cuff title....what is the world coming to?

Once again it's not overdone and the tunic appears original as does everything on it. In some photos it looks like Italian gabardine, but I can't say for sure. The pants look awful nice too. Now the experts can come in and have their say.

All the insignia is 100% fine and the tunic is made in Italian gabardine.
            Nice looking tunic.

I would be happiest person in the world if I could buy this fantastic TK tunic! no matter if it is "put-together" ot "untouched", it still looks just so period and right.
Hey, AndreM, did you win Mega Lotto?

I agree the insignia looks good, but you would really have to find out where that thing come from. Like where has it been for at least the last 40 years, who has owned it? When you can answer that and your happy, buy it.

Kris Anderson. Oakleaf / the web site has been around for about 6 years now. Kris lives in the Chicagoland area. He sets up multiple tables at all the militaria shows including the MAX and SOS.
