Hi

As Steven pointed out, these were also used by Hussars and are generally referred to as Tradition cap badges. Apologies, as I presumed this was already known. The SS also used these and other skull variants until they had a cap badge they could call their own.

More importantly, it is an original example and nice that it still has some of the original dirt in there
