    This pattern is made with the same Druckvorlagen/ Walzen of the czech Lei-
    bermuster..., the size of the sections are identical..., but the colours and the
    white band around the black sections, shows it's not czech.

    But the czechs told they made it with original production-equipment of the
    Waffen-SS and that it was a prototype-version of the Leibermusterline...

    So, from a logical point of view, this jacket is authentic.

        But the above statement is notable and something I always take interest in.

            No, a friend of mine bought it from the dealer for 2200.

            This friend turned down my 5000 Bucks and would never sell it for any price...

                  What I don't get is: why Mr. CharlemagneXX is insisting so much on this jacket being "authentic" while it's not even in his possession?

                  if your friend is happy with it, why going further?

                  Mr. Gary Wood, that new thread on "special camos" is really interesting and surely will be of great help.

                      According to the czech government, these type of Leibermusters had existed
                      and they modified it into their Leibermuster.

                      If they ever existed, as we know by recordings in Ravensbrück and by official
                      statements of the czechs..., this jacket is the most ever possible original, be-
                      cause it's matches in many ways.

                      Gary Wood did not ever see a an orignal of the clothings, wich the czechs later
                      copied.

                      He not even saw detailed photos of the jacket!

                        You are new here charlemagneXX. Welcome by the way. I think you should get to know the people before being so strong minded about this jacket. If you had done that, you would have known that Gary is very good with Waffen-SS regalia. Gary is one of those guys i would contact if i had problems with an SS piece. Gary is also a gentleman. I think you have to accept that the jacket is a postwar creation and not a rare Waffen-SS/camo garment.

                          So i'm looking foreward for some arguments by Gary about how the Leiber-
                          musterversions have to look like in original, that the czechs had copied...!

                          I think he don't know nothing about it..., an if i had some problems with SS-
                          stuff, i would call the man, from whom my friend bought this jacket.

                          Maybe Gary knows something about something..., but he knows nothing
                          about Ravensbrück, Czech Leibermuster or prototypes of late SS-clothing.

                          If he do know..., i wish to hear some facts about it.

                                Please close this embarrassing thread. We spent 19 sites in MFF to tell him this is no WW2 Leibertarn - without success.

                                The guy spent 2.200 € for a post war czech blouse but for him it´s an original SS camo blouse, so he should be lucky with it. It´s a waste of time to talk with him.
