        re,

        Charlemagne,
        you wrote :
        "I have the book myself.

About the camo you are wrong..., it's not a standard SS-Parka."

        then you wrote :
"At least it looks like a Leiberversion.

These photos make no proof of anything..., i posted them because they are
        showing some unusual camos..."

i still don't think it is an "unusual camo", but a standart SS camo parka.
but i don't have this book of Mabire anymore,
so maybe someone could post those pics with good quality ?

i will then recognize i'm wrong without problem.

          Try some better arguments.

Three long-time collectors of SS-camouflage-items, inspected this jacket...,
all are convinced that this jacket ist authentic 100%.
          im sorry for you

And here is a pic for you, showing the Charlemagne Soldiers at Karlstein. Have a look to the closer pic.

Seemed to be "Beringt Eichenlaub" Wintertarnjacke zum Wenden (autumn side outside) and not Leibermuster.

I'm dying to know what your next flimsy excuse is.

It was a long time since we had a so interesting thread.

Mr Charlemagne XX: posting the first pic and pointing out that it's a Charlemagne picture is indecent: first cos it's a well known early war picture, secondly cos as you must know the Charlemagne div was formed post august 1944 and then the tarnjacken weren't the standard issue (or not issued at all!) to new SS division. Even the 7th SS french sturmbrigade didn't wear those but M44 dot camo uniforms.
The Charlemagne div itself went to the front wearing feldgrau uniforms, during the Pomeranian retreat some managed to get heavy garnments stuff in some depots and the last one who fought in Berlin got M44 camo uniforms.

                  Tarnjacken: issued in leibermuster ?

About the Charlemagne captured soldier: oak leaf pattern would make my day.

                    That's right.

                    Definately not a Leibermuster.

As i said a few minutes before..., the photos makes no proof of anything.

I have no problem to say i'm wrong with the photo, if i am.

I hope we can clear other photos..., but i would be extremly surprised, if the
                    Skanderberg-photo is a standard pre-Leibermuster-pattern or a M45.

                    And what's about the stamp?

Even there is not only one single picture about a mysterious Leiberversion...,
                    the question ist still:

                    Is this jacket a fake?

I don't think so because if there were a prototype Leibermuster that were
tested by Charlemagne and Skanderberg, that were later modified by CSSR
to their "Leibermuster"..., this jacket is probably an original.

It's a pattern very close to czech Leibermuster, but it is definately not CSSR.

It was found with trousers, a Schlupfjacke and a poncho of the same pattern
                    in Ravensbrück...

What is it, if not an original SS-prototype??

This is a joke, isn`t it ? You're not serious, you will say, that you can see Leibermeister on the stamp ?????? (and at the Skanderbeg foto, too)

He absolutely refuses to see it - He does not even begin to try!

2.200,-- wasted, but no, it´s 1000% original from Ravensbrück. Btw who told you this story? The retailer?

This guy confuses italian-camo with Leiber and can´t seperate oak leaf camo from Leiber and wanted to tell me, that my spring-parka (http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...d.php?t=275804) is a bad copy? Poor guy...

                                Very special thread

Now reading this thread i would suggest a trip to your local optometrist, this should resolve the issues you are having
