You mean that yours have the word "Latvian" written inside?
This has "Müller" + something else.

I still have not seen anything that would want me to put my hand in my pocket and get out the cheque book.

The yellowish back lighting and poor photographs do not help, but I have seen enough red flags to advise caution with this one.

I would, however, like to see the Himmler inscription. Can you please post the name of the recipient and award date for us?

Hi Raymond.

I have asked the seller for some mre pictures of the inscription inside the ring.
I know that the recipient name is Müller, but I don't know the award date.

Hopefully the seller will send me better pictures and some more info on the ring.

Hi

Maybe it is a language problem with the seller, but maybe not.

Müller is a very, very common name and favoured by fakers as it makes identification of an individual recipient very difficult. I am not quite sure what the seller means by Nr#3 in 1944 list. I presume he is referrring to the Dienstaltersliste.

Perhaps he could send scans of his supporting paperwork about Müller? It is worth asking, but I would not hold my breath if I was you.

Did anyone look at the dogtag for you?

You may get a better response on the ID forum. I have had a quick look, but I would prefer not to make a judgement as I do not know enough.

I know that people that are selling fakes are telling all kind of stories to sell their items, but he also has this dogtag that goes with the ring:

Ofcourse both can be fakes. I don't know.
