Bob, NOW I SEE!!!
CHA-CHING$$$$$$$
first off Bob love it! nothing wrong with those tab's, and for anyone to say these were made back in the 60's is STUPID! as John and others have said they were not made like this then, and "IF" they had you would see more on the market. I am not an SS collector due to the cost of items and time, but I have no problems with Bob's coat, BUT do have problems with web-site new shooters like Jerry45, for this man or? to say what he says and show nothing but words is not cutting it for me and others and am getting sick of the crap. you joined this site Jerry45 last year and you say you have been collecting from the 60's? please where have you been for so long? what sites have you been on for so long and what items of yours have you shown as a comparison? sorry but i'm not the only one thinking this.. for a statement like i am not showing what i have on the web-site or Internet is like "they" all know where you live and are going to get you? look there are men and women on this forum that show items that are hundreds of thousands of dollars, to post war made $1.00 items and so if your going to keep your secret collection to yourself cool, but your still not going to be believed. where have you been? new to the computer world?
Bob, sorry your posting didn't need this but others did.
Bob, keep'm coming, you own and have owned more than most ever will. By the way Bob love all your photos in SO many Books too.

I don't really understand why Kumm would have pre-war quality insignia for an Obersturmbannf******252;hrer when he didn't attain that rank until October 1941. Likewise I doubt Weidinger who got the rank in 1944. Other officers reached the rank who were in (part or whole) with "DF", sleeve titles were worn at later assignments if the new posting didn't have a cufftitle. Note photo of Kumm in my books with a DF sleeve title while assigned to the V.SS-Gebirgs-Korps for example.
