I have been offered several pieces of SS insignias. I am not too much interested to purchase them, but since I am avid to know more about them, I would like to hear your opinion on these.

This Bevo RZM tag connotes a pre-war badge. The theory being, more or less, that these cloth tags no longer appeared after about 1937/8. I am not sure whether the SS Verfuegungstruppe employed such colored facings much before 1940, did they? However, I am outside of the real expertise and rely here on the addenda in the 3d volume of Mollo. This kind of VA RZM tag (with SS contract #) is often seen on authentic regalia on black and grey uniforms---less the latter, really. These tags are faked, to boot.

Wasn't the Leibstandarte just a motorised infantry regiment 'till 1941 ?
