    Giorgio,
I will in the near future start a thread on just metal cap eagles, I noticed you said you had a m1/72 eagle what about posting pictures of that, if you have trouble posting them let me know.
    cheers,
    Gary

      Hi Alik,
I believe your skull is a copy. It is marked with a 800-silver content mark, and it is my believe that any skulls marked with this are copies.

      Regards

        Good Morning Gentlemen

I just stopped in to check the thread and all I can say is excellent, excellent discussion and input. I especially want to thank Jean Pierre for his help, his insight and opinions. I’m still swamped with work and won’t have a moment to rest until tomorrow but I think a good case is being made for the 155/36 numbers.

Jean Pierre, is there anyway you can get a better picture of the Assmann catalog eagle and e-mail a copy to me?

        Great discussion guys!

        Best Regards
        Rick

            Hello everyone!
            This is a great topic.
I have a couple original eagles marked "M1/167"
            (Augustin Hicke, Tyssa b. Bodenbach)
I have never seen or heard of a skull marked as such
and was wondering if any of you have.
Also, how do I upload a picture?
I have some pics of my eagles but can't figure out how
to post them. Thanks very much!
            Chris

                SS Eagle.

                Hi,

Very interesting thread. I have a question about the list.
I have a frosted SS eagle that I bought from the curator of a military museum that has one of the "exclusively" known bad numbers on it. Is the list 100% accurate, or subject to change?

Hi all. - Here's a 499 42 marked version. I haven't seen this marking elsewhere as of yet.

                        Hi all,
Have any of you ever come across an M1/24 eagle or an
                        M1/167 skull? Thanks! Chris

Thank you Gary for posting the pictures for me!
The top eagle is a latewar M1/167 and the bottom one is a wartime, plated zinc M1/167. All opinions welcome.
I would still like to know if there was a M1/167 skull.
                                Best, Chris
