Very rare?

Looks like I found once a year a set of Oberstingenieur collar tabs on Ebay ...

It seems that this set once was earmarked for the three-blade prop of Oberstabsingenieur tabs or the tabs were promoted. The outline shadow is still visible.

South front blue straps for a HG Offizieranwärter. Again with the added slides of double Luftwaffe braid like for an Heer officer aspirant, fixed at the underside of the straps.

Wow. Those are beautiful. I like how they were upgraded. I wonder if the tailor modification cost more to do than simply buying a new set of tabs? Very nice set.

thanks for posting these photos paul. i believe these are FBB. of course they could be a variant of HG wrap tabs. i know zero on all the weird variations of HG wrap insignia. comments and opinions on this pair are welcomed.

rj. had to do some research before i replied to your question about insignia worn by hg regiments and FBB guys. there are numerous respected collectors who could have given you better info than me. but i collected some info and opinions in the last week. i will post that info when i get it sorted.
