Here's the link to a German-made pair I own. I didn't make the best photos, but the buckle is definitely the type posted here.

In any case, It's rather well known that German MFG's incorporated foreign hardware such as captured buttons etc. in the production of their clothing/equipment and all the same employed entire factories. Plenty of examples abound provide evidence of this practice.

I have seen these trousers before with this type of buckles and a few sets were or currently on Mike Davis's site.

Dont know for sure...but cloth and color are typically French or Belgian. Maybe reused ?

With this kind of shoes I'd would think that it could be a H J Marseille picture.

An other pair with this type of buckle.

                        Hi,

I found something more about those buckles on internet:

                        http://patrimoine5rg.free.fr/musee/u...940/cne37.html

                        http://atf40.forumculture.net/t8330-...3e-cie-28e-bcc

                        http://stalag325.blogspot.cz/2013/04...es-france.html

Imo buckles are french made and some german producers used them on trousers.
