KM Kriegsmarine markings which stamp during what period anchor over M

    For holsters of Parabellum pistols, the M over anchor can be found until 1932 !

    I think it comes down to availability of new stamps......
    A change in regulation sometime needs many years to be fully implemented and to reach the last company affected.
    Same happened with the introduction for the eagle with swastika...needed also a couple of years.

    Therefore the stamps can not be used for determining a production year.

    Also please note the Anchor and M was already used before the imperial navy !

        Thank you very much it surprise me that these stamps are not easy to pinned them down to a precise period do you have some evidence that these anchor M are been used before the imperial navy? Interested thread!!,

          KM Kriegsmarine markings which stamp during what period M over anchor

          P08 LUGER serial number (sn) 9658S, the manufacturing date is close to this ones:
          0.1155 1929 or later, applied to 29 DWM, sn 9669s
          0.1270 1929 or later, applied to 29 DWM, MA sn 9669s

          www: the lowest property mark recorded is M/Anchor N 37 on a alphabet DWM Luger serial number 560o. This Luger was manufactured in 1925 or 1926.
