Excellent example of an original untouched KM type bosun whistle!
unmarked = as most of all originals observed
heavy-duty ring = correct type
drip of solder = excactly as you though, done to tune the pipe (this practice is described as a recommandation in the Pfeife manual)

Indeed, this pipe is so "untouched" that I think the fingerprint visible on the right side is actually my grandfather's!

Km pfeife

Just got this km pfeife , looks ok to me has name inscribed could be karl Sohnle in gothic script , i could be wrong but i think the tip end might have broken off or has been removed at some time?? Thats the end you blow into, will take better picks in day light. Regards Paul.

And another one. This seems to be the standard model, but with a different "Eagle&M" stamp.
It has the name Husselstein (?) scratched into it.
It has a nice age to it, and the stamp certainly doesn't appear fresh.
