I'm not sure I personally like the idea of having a sub forum. That said, let me add that I have developed a growing interest in the Kriegsmarine lately. Nine out of my last ten uniforms I received were actually KM (and I had focused on WH before that exclusively).

Still, the Wehrmacht was made up of three branches. The Heer, Luftwaffe and Kriegsmarine. There aren't that many threads every day in this forum that would make it impossible to keep up with them as it is. I already miss a lot of the Luftwaffe discussions because they have an extra sub forum. I miss the days when it was possible to go to one big forum to be educated about all three branches of the Wehrmacht. I would think there are other collectors out there who might also miss out on the KM stuff if it were separated.

Think about how small the Kriegsmarine actually was & how relatively few items get posted. A forum needs activity --- wouldn't there be the danger of a lot of the threads dying?

So please don't get me wrong. I love the Kriegsmarine & I wouldn't vote against such a forum if there were a poll. You still may want to figure out if you would be doing us KM collectors a favor with it.
