The Luftschutz skirt decals all show different lettering and different fonts and the fonts used are consistant with what I would expect for a WWII German item. They also show honest wear from age and use. The same cannot be said for these factory property decals. The decal adds value and saleability to a common item. I can agree to disagree but nothing I have seen here has changed my personal opinion that none of these nearly identical-looking decals that have only appeared in recent years with what look like a common modern font and fake aging are real.

Whatever the case ..there is no way that anyone can contest the fact that these Factory Helmets were issued and used during the War ...remember that photo of the Factory Ready Room I posted ? Here's a close up of the Decal on the right side ...in a way it almost looks like the Zundapp Logo .
Well ...the picture is real ...so , anyone completely dismissing these as all being fake is mistaken.Attached Files

I did consider that but , the shape of the black area on that M34 decal seemed odd . Chris , Perry …You keep admitting the Factory Helmets existed but …I still have not heard the criteria you use to determine the real from fake . Is the Skirt decal the “red flag” tip off for you both ? Do you feel Factory Logos on the front are correct ?<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /><o></o>
It would be great if we could make this an informative thread rather than just saying “Most are Fake” and walking away.
Littlejohn's "Defending the Reich" touches on the subject and has a few examples ..unfort , no inside shots.
