although there is an M13 instead of a CV 33/35, this is a very nice postcard (by Boccasile) ... sent one month before the other, yet Colonel Always of the 1st Tank Regiment, by his subordinate near the Egypt border: in July 4, 1942 the Military Post 210 was placed near El Alamein..

and another two military mail dated end of 1940 at the beginning of Operation Compass, for the first (and only) confrontation between CV 35 tank and British Armoured force in North Africa, in Nezuret Ghirba (against Rolls Royce armoured cars) near Ridotta Capuzzo (Fort Capuzzo) the 16 June 194th, just six days after the entry of the Italy into the war.....

Ridotta Capuzzo that between 1940 and 1942 change hands many times

and in December 1940 during the British offensive the 61 Division Sirte
is deployed in defense of the roads between the Ridotta Capuzzo and Ain el-Gazala ...
The tank battalion of the division is the 61 Light Tank Battalion and its commander was Lt. Col. Sbrocchi that here he writes to his wife
