and the commander of the 31 Tank Regiment in the Balkans:.

General Ugo de Lorenzis, another nice tanks officer, commander of the 33 Tank Regiment against France in 1940 and of the 31 Tank Regiment in the Balkans (then in Russia, then Corsica against the Germans. Then with Alllies and so various positions after the war in the Italian Army .... Knight Military Order of Italy, a silver and two bronze medals, four crosses the merit of war etc etc... and the author of a nice book of memories on the 31 Tank regiment in the war against Greece and Yugoslavia

a nice postcard with his autograph form Parma (late 1939 early 1940) when he was command of 33 Tank Regiment .....

and a small lot of "feldpost" of a first tank lieutenant of his 31 Tank Regiment from Albania and Greece

two photos of our CV35 of the 31 Tank regiment abandoned on Kolibaki-Ioannina road captured the Greeks (note the inscription on the tanks without guns: recalls the sinkingof the Greek ship Elli in peacetime and during a Greek Orthodox holidays) : " Avenger Elli "

and form a letters to his wife ..... 12/11/1940 near Kolibaki .... in a place mentioned in the bulletin 151 .....

Then our now 1 Lieutenant, in May 1941 (after Yugoslavia) wrote to his wife for a visit of the King and Mussolini to his Regiment at the beginning of May foreseen in the plain of Argiocastro to the Albanian gGeek border

and a medal of the 131 Armoured Division Centauro (which contained the 31 Tank Regiment) on the Balkan campaigns ..... Kolibaki!
