no problem, any fact or facts based opinion is appreciated.
better than the "mmmm not for me " remarks which doesn't bring any valuable arguments to this topic.
So , my question again, did you see the name tag of this particular uniform ?
Thanks

pocket flaps 2
HH tunic , von weichs tunic ( I know the lower pockets are completely different and the number of buttons as well..but compare the upper ones and then compare the previous post)
And yes I am aware of the fact that field marshals had several uniforms.
Would love to see a contemporary picture which is a perfect match with the HH uniforms pockets.
I still keep an open mindAttached FilesInterested in all E. Reitz Uniformwerke items.

I do not think anybody is saying it is no doubt a reproduction nor no doubt that it is original. As discussed here, GFM Von Rundstedt had several uniforms. The question is: are you willing to risk this much money without having personally inspected the tunic or look at the chain of ownership as far back as possible. A tunic as prestigious as this one should have some history in the chain of ownership. Hopefully somebody can get more detail pictures of the tunic and the pictures of the tailor tags. Most auction houses will do their best to provide information to a potential buyer's questions on their high end pieces since they want the commission from the sale.
