opinions of Gebirgsjäger wool coat? help?

I saw the aplication of the edelweiss, and it's perfect. The shoulder board loops were also fine. I had good feelings about the whole coat. Just looking for a tunic first...

Christian, what is a 'correct application' of an edelweiss? My grandmother can sew even better than those. I have/had tunics with machine stiched edelweiss and hand sewn... Same goes for shoulder board loops.

The only things that are hard to fake are stichings of eagles and collartabs.
