If you Google koh-i-noor there are a few sources of information about them. Have been around in one form or another since the late 1700s but I don't know when they formally adopted the name koh-i-noor. I have a WWI-style leather flight helmet with koh-i-noor snaps.

Depending on the price they sold for, it may have been worth a try. I for one like them..............post war or not.
