Did I miss out on a good pair of Kanalhose?

These recently sold but I did not buy them because 1) I do not know enough about them yet and 2) I had some concerns about a few details on this pair.

Did I make the right decision or did I miss out on a good pair? I'd like to add to my education so I am better prepared for the next pair that comes available.

.. if they're postwar, why do they still have the legpocket for the telescopic flagpole ?
I can't imagine the flagpole was used postwar, not even by the Czech..

I won't buy anything with KOHINOOR snap buttons or zippers as this company came into existence in 1945, emerging from the former Czech-german manufacturer WICO which was nationalized after the war.

I know that there are other opinions concerning Kohinoor, Jos.

But this is mine.
