In my opinion, very good movie. Different and better than most of Hollywood movies about WW2.

Here is a modern techno video re-make on one of the best Soviet WW2 movies about Russian "mole" in Berlin Gestapo:

              08/15

There is another series of Movies that were released in 1954. I don't know if it was mentioned yet but it is an excellent triology. It is simply named "08/15". I saw it in Germany in a theatre many years ago but it is on DVD now. Most of the gear in these films was original.

With all due respect, guys, the films that should be talked about are the ones with original uniforms because they were made DURING the Third Reich. "Kopf Hoch, Johannes" was actually filmed at a NAPOLA in 1942 (and yes, all the uniforms are 100% real!):

Junge Adler (1944) with Hardy Kruger (the only real SS-mann to play an SS man!)--this was filmed on location at the Heinkel works during the war (and yes, the He-111 is real--none of this Hollywood crap!):

Also, the Winter War was great!

I too just love those old WW2 Hollywood studio made uniform birds,
they even make some of those more odd screen productions like
Tarzan and Lassie fighting the Nazis all the more cartoonish. I like
the big studio eagles so much I've even traded real Nazi and other
militaria for the studio made stuff, which was used even in the 1960's
"Combat" TV show - my favorite show when i was a kid.</h4></center>
