Unfortunately I have never been able to tell the difference between 1st, end and 3rd pattern boots

I heard that the leather part varies in those models?!

1st pattern: leather on the toes only covers the toes
2nd pattern: leather on the toes goes further up to the eyelets, the 2nd pattern was only in production for a short period of months, so rare.
3th pattern: leather on the toes covers the whole foot up until the eyelets and this is a separate part like a big toe cap. Most common type.

1st and 2nd pattern leather around the foot is one part.
