Thanks Germanmedals and Mr. Singer, appreciated.

Hope you and yours are well Mr. Singer. Have had a serious illness in the family which was diagnosed last year and as rightfully taken up most of my attention. Puts the important things of life into immediate perspective. I am doing well however. Thanks!

Sincere thanks gentlemen. For personal reasons, this grouping has quickly become as significant as any Fj group.

Tried to post some detail photos but all attempts failed this morning. Anyone else having trouble posting photos?

Killer set John ! Thats high end collecting

Would you consider it displaying it more permanently on a mannequin or alike?

                        Best regards and stay safe,

                        Jan B.

                          Greetings Jan, thanks!

That has always been the plan. My FJ mannequins are all 6 feet tall. The DAK M40 tunic and M40 cap are small, am going to have to find a smaller mannequin for this set. The search goes on.

Keep us updated John, I can only imagine it will look stunning on a vintage / retro mannequin.

                            Good luck with the hunt

Mark, I did not choose the cap, it was chosen for me, a very long time ago.

Tim, there are plenty of Tropenhelm, they just happen to have Luftwaffe eagles on them. Seriously, as this will eventually be on a mannequin much preferred the M40 cap over a sun helmet. Would like a greatcoat, but would not display it for it would cover most everything.

There are Heer web Y-straps also, just on other displays. One will be moved to this group when it is put on a mannequin.

Many thanks for all the comments and interest.
                              Sorry for my late reply

Thanks for the additional shots, that bayo is an piece of art on it´s own... And the pair of 40s leave one speechless
                              Simply perfect setup/combination
