That is a nice ensemble. With plenty of conjecture aside it would be useful to see a clear image of the box stamping above the manufacturer Emil Ranisch. It appears to be Panz. Lehrkp.(?) 4. Komp. which is interesting as the abbreviations are somewhat unusual and may well remove the tunic from anything to do originally with P.R.7. Looks like a winner!

It is only on the inside , that I can make out the " concentric circles " weave , only at an angle and very hard to photograph .
Maybe because it is still quite wooly . The cloth is very lightweight and quite " stretchy " , very much unlike the wool of the jacket .
I wish I had handled one in person before ..
