I had a printed one like the one BobI is selling about 7 years ago, it was a good display size, maybe 4 by 4 foot, it was on the coarse wool and had the usual holes you find on these. There was one for the Head of the Army at the SOS and it also had the moth holes and it was on the coarse wool. I wish I had kept my example of the AH piece. I can not recall seeing a printed one without the damage to the wool and the ones I have seen are all marked on the bunting.

Actually they are two different flags design and with two different meanings, the personal/state leader one have the two types of egles, the national/political eagle and the HEER/armed forces one, making the fact of been the supreme comander....political and military.

The LAH one, even as it look almost the same, only have the political/national eagles, this symbol the fact that the regiment of the LAH is not only responsible for protecting the Fuhrer but also the state, the fact that the regiment carry the name of AH, makes the use of the almost identical flag design as the State/supreme commander a logical one to mark the importance and responsability, and as we know in the SS the ideology and political aspect where important if not the backbone of the organization.

Ditto that, and like the AH standard the LAH
standard front/back is the same. However, on
the Leibstandarte SS AH Battalion flags their
were 2 different sides - none have survived WW2.
