    Sebastian:
I disagree, IMO III/43 SS-SBF pole edge has been repaired,
and replacement rings remounted via external added loops.
Original ring loops are internal edge mounted, not external.
Many surviving SS-SBF's are without original rings, as they
were torn off their poles when taken as souvenirs in 1945
    .

Ditto that, I too no longer collect war souvenir flags , and
since 2010 only certain screen used Hollywood movie flags.
I stopped collecting SS-SBF's in the 1970's, having obtained
    SS-SBF I/5, SS-SBF Signal Bn 4, SS-SBF II/72, SS-SBF I/107,
and long before ever encountering a SS-VT or SS-TK SS-SBF.

      Hello Oldfw.,

are you thinking, that all my rings are repaired?

(when it was repaired I think it is wartime
it is the same material like the flag)

it is not simply made separate very luxuriously.
Not only a cheap material or other one same material like the flag.

But again, I saw early flag with last ring like this.(no slide)

But first question is until now the same .
I see that the first pole was used be second pattern flag and inverse too.

Waht I can see on the pictures.(wartime pictures)

      best regards Sebastian

        Sebastian:
Yes, IMO all III/43 rings appear to have been replaced
and the flag edge repaired as noted by the added patch
pieces and likewise added external ring mounting loops.
Again many SS-SBF are missing rings, from being torn off
        their pole in 1945.

          Hi collectors,

I think, that this thread is more interested, like other ones .
I can´t understand that nobody can say anything or post maybe a picture more.

Is a historical and rar item not so interested like a german cross or a SA dagger?

A SS STBF is rarer than a KC or a Okleave or a Okleave with Sword.
Or take a bloodorder first model ecxactly the same.

From time to time I think militaria is a bad story...
And often I´m very happy that I sold a lot...

          ok, I´ll ask YOU again.

Can sombody post more wartime pictures from SS Flags?
I´d like to clear for me and my knowledge, from first and second pole.

          best regards Sebastian

Why did you raise the price of the flag.If it did not sell at the lower price why do you think it will sell at a higher price?

              Hello,

              Why?

              This is a rare flag.
I must not sell the flag.
I´ll cut the pole and put the flag and top in my bank...

And I will not give away them also definitely.
It is a option for an SS collector or collector what will take a investment.
And I thnik it is a investment.

Do you have interest, or why does the price interest you?
You had not written to me up to now.

              Best regards Sebastian

                DD:
As per my post #4, the asking price "is
                cheep IMO as
there are fewer SS battalion flags in existence than Army
                or Luftwaffe at $20K+.
                "
Only 25 SS-SBF are photo verified
as having survived WW2, and none are known in Russia.

Some nice Sturmbann-flags. For those that are interested:

                  II/16 = Breslau I from Oberabschnitt Südost, Abschnitt VI;
                  III/59 = Stassfurt, Oberabschnitt Mitte, Abschnitt XVI;
III/43 = Frankenstein, Oberabschnitt Südost, Abschnitt XXI. This Sturmbann
was later (possibly about 1938) transferred to Abschnitt VI from the same
Oberabschnitt and so had nothing to do with Frankenstein in the Pfalz-area.

not longer for sale in Estand.
Will cut the pole and put the rest deep in my bank.

Maybe next chance in 5 years

                      Cut the pole?

Sounds like destroying something in an irreversible way?!

I would think it would sell well on one of the high end (Europe) auction sites, but no experience with them
