It's kind of crazy but I just thought about this about a week before I saw this post. So maybe I will try to find their number again and reach back out to them! I sure would like to have that flag back and could probably give it some TLC and get it back up to where it looked pretty good.
Even though this is nowhere near one of my top pieces this will be something that I will regret for the rest of my life! Hopefully this is Fate giving me a reminder and I can get lucky.

SS-SBF III/43 sold ...
.. at auction for maybe a bargain price? Compare
III/45 (post 251) to this different III/43 example
fringe mounting, corner patch cord thickness, etc.
OFW
Description
"Early swastika SS battalion flag with black and silver fringing,
and bearing a patch near the upper section along the hoist
reading "III/43", meaning the III Sturm of SS-Standarte 43.
In very good condition, does not fluoresce under blacklight.
Fringe is possibly a later addition. Measures 29 inches by 56
1/2 inches in size. Has seven metal rings along the hoist.
Possibly consecrated at the 1933 Reichsparteitage."Last edited by oldflagswanted; 03-11-2020, 08:56 PM.sigpic

Cheers,
Darek.
Suggest you check WAF sponsor sites for
authentic lanzespitzen listings, which I've
noted priced at $800 to $2K in the past.
Also a nice replica has been offered online
by Traders of the Lost Surplus for ~$100.
For an authentic complete pole contact

From online search RZM code “M7/60”
= (Gustav Koller, Solingen). If this is
not correct, please do advise.
