Purported to be taken from Herman Göring's luggage train according to provenance offered at the auction. The second was pulled from the Rock Island Auction as a modern fabrication, as the gun was reportedly viewed in unengraved condition some years before.

Karl Wolff’s Walther

The two guns were H. Himmler gifts that were liberated from the quarters of General Wolff in northern Italy by US forces. They were not gifts to Wolff.

This is a very nice holster/strap set, but the NSDAP eagle on the flap is a replacement and apparently not original as can be seen in this photo.

No. The gun you show is #321232 and it is identical to the one in the West Point Museum # 321231. Both were prepared for gifts from Himmler and in Wolff's possession when taken by US forces. It was not presented to Wolff.

Yes, the very ornate PPK with HG initials is a fabrication.
