Some great pics of camouflaged weapons and equipment. However, in the case of the subject K98k's posted in this thread - that they existed then is not evidence that these must be authentic.

I have been collecting K98's for 35 years and have never seen one that was painted. Thanks for sharing the pictures. What value would these have?
