both of this k98k are realy interesting,the one from sasso looks better,but the first one is cool as well,i wonder how the soldiers have removed the paint of them in spring,it was easy to put green paint over white camo on helmet,have owned and seen some,but with a rifle it was not that easy from my point of viev.

.why would a soldier paint his weapon for cammo purposes when 3/4 of the year it would be more useful in brown. The bulge bulge does not make sense, its such a slight piece to see versus all the other things in the field.

german equipment was usually painted with water based paint chalk mixed with water or lime, or white bandage.
For me first 98k ( if white paint is original) metal parts had been cleaned postwar, second one looks like painted postwar (fake camo).
