It's a DUV43 G.41. Is this a rare version or no?

not the rare version, or at least probably not 10K rare.

the G41M will have a a bolt handle and a fixed 10 round mag etc. Made by Walther. a minty, all matching G41M could be in the 10K range...or more to the right person.

I passed on a Boys back in 05/06 for $800

Probably one of my biggest collecting regrets - especially after seeing one listed here for $5800.

The same summer I found a PIAT for $150 though so it evened out

I find it interesting that the K43 in those ads was less than others such as the garand!

Hey guys. A little update:

I ended up buying the G41 for WELL under $2,000. What a beaut she is! All matching minus the magazine which is missing. It is missing a cleaning rod and site hood as well. The bore is fabulous and there are no major deficiencies. The stock is not sanded and not duffle-cut. See my pics here:
