If Obama sent ATF to every door, I seriously doubt many gun-owners would put up a fuss and would just hand over their firearms. It's hard to tell where the line is drawn for the time to stand-up when you have anti-gov't kooks acting like chicken little and liberals in key positions throughout society brain-washing generations of youth and other oppress--err, impressables. It won't be too long before our Founding Fathers will be dug-up and their corpses dragged before a UN war crimes tribunal! Individualism is a target of the liberals. They hate people who think for themself and are self-assured/self-reliant.

The latest target is a citizen who uses a firearm for self-defense. My county DA prosecutes every shooting (even justifiable) so he gets headlines. They say "call 911 hide in the closet and wait 20min for the cops to show." Yeah right! In our country the police are actually not obligated to assist nor are liable if you are hurt or die (remember hurricane Katrina). The city/county/whatever will likely throw some money at you, or your survivors, to compensate. What a bargain!! You pay for the 911 system, the cops, DA, etc, and they give you a "refund" if they fail you, yea!!! Speaking of lawyers...

Our high firearms crime rate you "enlightened citizens of the world" like parading around, to feel better about turning in your own firearms, is due to our legal system. Felons are not allowed to own firearms in the US. They therefore acquire firearms illegally. The best way to minimize this is by locking their ass up. The liberals are to thank for our revolving prison doors.

As to stockpiling ammo, it may be hard to comprehend if you don't shoot often. I've been shooting since I was 10 and started hitting the range weekly at 16. I own several MGs but I seldom blast-away as I got my fill doing it with Uncle Sam's. Outside of military deployments, I shoot three times a week since '89, expending a minimum of 500rds a session-- you don't even want to guess how much ammo I have (plus reloading components). The ammo market here probably is way different from yours. In most instances1000rd/case are the norm. Thus, ordering 10k isn't out of the norm. Ammo delivery is like crude oil. Price varies shipment to shipment and you never know if this could be the last shipment.
Well put. Bravo for taking the time to type this post. I agree with you 100%.

The left want to ban guns for a reason. They are afraid of an armed citizenery. The Nazis had tanks, bombs, planes, etc. and they still required all occupied peoples to turn in firearms under penalty of death. Armed partisans didn't win the war, but they caused a lot of problems. And look what happened in the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising.

Look how successful guerilla fighters have been against super-powers over the last century.
I live near the city of brotherly love (ha!). Pa has been flooded with libs from NY & NJ who want to make my state like the beloved ones they left. Luckily, the state has strong pro-gun laws (no city or county can pass more stringent laws/restrictions than the state's) but the local politicians love pushing the limit.

        Agree completely
State preemptive laws are very good.

Loads of stories surrounding individuals that have rights from town to town or county to county within individual states. This creates quite a bit of confusion and legal issue for individuals. Agreed on the local political stance as well, some seem to behave as if they are above the states laws and in some examples openly violate the preemptive stance in oreder to make one point or another. I am familiar with the Philly area , have Family in Phoenixville and Valley Forge. There is definately an influx of folks who cant seem to grasp that Pa. is mostly rural and feel as their former states laws should apply.

Have you seen the vid with the Fema instructor declaring the Founding Fathers "The Original Terrorists"
Ill check for it again and post a link.

Good call on Katrina as well, saw it first hand and must say there were some good Leo and some "it aint my problem types" worse would be the bunch that took their instructions without thought..aka..its not my job to protect but God forbid you attempt to defend yourself.

This last bunch did single out the self reliant types, with passion in cases.

Not really sure as it cuts out, although judging from the responses in said video I am leaning on the side of no. It would be bad form to disagree with the instructor in class...aka think for yourself. Its not like this is a course on any applicable skills. ie tactics or such, more theory and political indoctrination.

The date of the video is also a bit telling.
