    Whats so particular about the M1914 that you like?

    I would love see a pic of a M1914 in German hands.

      The major difference is the slide release is a lot easier to use. Other than that the differences are mainly cosmetic. Mine was made in 1942 and shoots like a dream

        I've never seen one before, just looked it up. I like the slide release, will it fit a M1911?

            Hi Steve,

            I have one that is also all original with serial number 773xxx.

            I just checked it and the serial number is only on the frame.
