      It would perform very well in your rifle.

      Here are comments on the round;

        I forgot to mention that the Norwegian stock is 20 mm longer than the German. When selecting G3 for the Norwegian army, they messured the arms of 1500 recruits, and found it wise to make the stock longer.

        There are also a "sniper-kit" for the G3, with scope and mount, another rear sight, and a piece to make the stock even longer.

        Attached a picture of the Norwegian standard and adjustable stock, and some German ones to see the length difference:

          A few more supressed guns:

          The first one is a locally made one after the war. I use it on a standard MkII Sten sometimes. The next two are made by a Gunsmith for the stay-behind organization that we had after the war.

          Supressors are free here, no rules. I can buy as many as I want, and modify them as I like.

            That's pretty cool! I never fired a Sten. I did fire a suppressed Sterling SMG for a few days when I participated in various small arms testing at the "USAF Armament Directorate", when I was stationed at Eglin AFB in the '80s. I really liked it!

            Yes, your laws are more relaxed than here. At least we can buy them. Since Hollywood provides the main source of information for so many in our society, a suppressor will always be viewed as something for the "bad guys"....

            We started up our weekly "1000 yard club" meetings a few weeks ago. A lot of fun!

                Do you belong to any ranges in the area?
