I am looking at the thread now and see Dave has actually done a cut and paste of an e-mail from Patrice and has turned it on him. That is amazing.

And if you read the mail he sent to Dave he has done nothing wrong but to speak his native tongue. I saw the cap posted there for sale and sent it to a couple guys without knowing it was posted for comments here.

The fact that it was posted for sale there and not on the E-stand that the seller uses with a simple description "out of the woodwork" should make anyone wonder what the deal was. It looks like a snake sale and the seller knew exactly what he was doing.

Don't know what the deal with the cap is, but Coleman likes it. But now that it is controversial?? why not mark it down to 3000.00.

What just happened was an effort to sell a controversial item without disclosure, and Hohog turned it on a forum member who requested a simple discussion. Its just not the way things should be done. A perfect example of why Patrice should walk away as well as they just made him the bad guy and there were several guys on that hat. And Weinand is the guy who need's a major bitch-slap for being a squirrel.

I feel bad for Pat because he is really a nice and pleasant person.
Easy to talk with. Easy to deal with. and a great optimistic joyful outlook on things.
He was treated not only harshly but also unfairly.

Why treat anyone like that? Post your private email. For what reason?

WHY? Is a word that was never supposed to be asked in Communist countries. And you don't ask it on GDC. If you do you risk being done to you whatever the powers-to-be will feel is appropriate.

I thought it was "The fish stinks from the head down" which was what we used to say. And it is true either way.

But look at the sales description here:
