5 Watt sender (need help)

But unfortinently, a previous owner has destroyed the "Sprechkapsel" or the microphone insert it self. Thats a real shame, as it has beautiful stampings and waffenamt marking











As you can see from the two following pictures, it has been properly gutted...











If anyone has a spare Sprechkapsel like this, i would be very interested.
It would be great to have this microphone repaired. I had to use a throat microphone, to test my 5W.s. so far.

And to day, I got this very nice 330 Volt cable in the mail. (Thanks, again, Ragnar )







Everything looks so much more nice and tidy, with the original high-voltage cable installed:











.....and I have also cleaned up the radio a bit for the occation. I have just carefully wiped off dirt and grease from the frontpanel. (as the transmitter came without a front cover, and has proberbly not had a cover for many years, the frontpanel was quite dirty)

I just got hold of a original 1940 issue L.Dv. 702/1, Heft 151 Luftnachrichtentruppe, Der 5 Watt sender.
This is a nice booklet, with lots of very nice and useful information. It has several different archive stamps, both wartime and even post war Bundesarchiv stamps.

And to my great surprize, I just discovered (in my "parts box") that I actually already have the original antenna cable that goes between the Torn.E.b. and the Empfänger antenne connection on the 5W.s.
I seriously did not know that I had it, so this was a very nice surprize

I also have this nice original issue "handmikrofon" for the 5W.s. This part has been laying around in my "parts box" for years, until I recognized it from pictures with the 5W.s.
I actually thought that this was a civillian microphone, and did not pay any attention to it, before I realized what it was.

Hi. I have a small update on my 5 W.s.
Yesterday, I got no less than 4 microphone inlays from Germany, for the hand held microphone.







They are dated from 1935, 36, 39 and 1943.







I have installed the 1935 dated Sprechkapsel into the microphone, and tested it on the 5 W.s. with great success







And I did a short transmission test-recording.
I put up an improvized antenna, and tuned in the transmitter on the same wawe-lenght with the AM radio. This is a rather poor test, as the transmitter is way to close to the recieving radio, and the antenna is not correct for this transmitter. A lot of resonance and interfearing noise, but you get the idea. And as this is a somewhat international forum, I tried to do the test in both english and german. My native language is Norwegian, so please excuse my somewhat poor quality english and german language.

I will conduct a better radiotest outside, when I have collected the original antenna parts needed. But this will proberbly not be until next summer.

The similarity is quite obvious here yes. I guess asian copy's of western products are nothing new of this century.
I noticed that the microphone sold for about $50, but now the same microphone is up for sale again:

when searching in my spares , i found a bakelite device , with a socket , like for a pocket lamp , inside a coil , and the mike is like your 4 from germany with CL- DRP
one is with a green circle , not written F.mph.25c but same size , may be civilian use ? Don't know

Hi Pierre.
That is proberbly a civilian part. The extra sprechkapseln that I got hold of, are civillian models wich originally belong to the german OB 05 desk telephone.





I believe that your parts also come from this or a very similar telephone.
